Changed: Babies, Studios and Me

It’s been almost a year.

Hi.

As we said in our last post, 11 months ago, things were changing, and boy did they.

First we moved. We moved into a space so small we had to get rid of most of our carefully collected hoard. Mandy made me halve my Christmas collection (it hurts just to type that).

We spent weeks arranging and rearranging our small studio, trying to fit all the things we kept into it. Eventually we did it, sort of, we still look like hoarders, that’s just our style though.

Once we had spaces carved out for both of us, we had to get to work. That might be the second biggest change of Polluted Pixie, 95% of what we now sell has been made by us. We make all day… while drinking tea and being snarky. We’re still pretty asshole-ish, that hasn’t changed.

Then the biggest change to PP happened, Lily was born. And she immediately became the whole world of Polluted Pixie. Of course she did.

Now we only look at baby things, we only make baby things, we live and breathe baby. It was a bit weird at first, it’s been a long time since babies took up such a large spot in my life, but I’m adapting to my grandmother roll nicely.

Life has adjusted. It’s quieter in the back of the Plaza, yet busier too. We thought we’d be a bit sad, missing out on all the annoying and hilarious goings on in the plaza parking lot, but we were wrong, turns out there are a lot of weirdos back here too :)
